TEXbase Company History
For thirteen years, Joe Walkuski (our founder), was the Director of Textile Research & Development at Patagonia. In 1997 he was a founding member of Patagonia’s Advanced Concept Development Center in Bozeman, Montana.
Throughout his career developing innovative textiles, Joe realized a strong need to better manage material development processes in order to more effectively bring higher quality products to market faster.
After leaving Patagonia in 2002, Joe formed TEXbase, which soon became the global leader in Material Lifecycle Managment Software. Along the way, the company has delivered TEXbase On-Demand Solutions to industry leading brands such as Patagonia, Under Armour and Cabelas, while TEXbase Connect allows these brands to collaborate with their supply chain partners such as Kingwhale, Polartec, W.L. Gore and Toyota Tsusho.
The TEXbase technology and our approach to solving customer needs has evolved over the years, but we've never lost our focus on delivering solutions that result in shorter product lifecycles, improved brand integrity, enhanced product innovation, and increased bottom line profits.
